Welcome to Directions in Senior Care, an aging life care,  care management and educatioal company.  Our priority is help  improve quality of lives of older adults and their families. We can do this one call or on-going relationship. There are so many decisions & choices, so we want to help you to feel confident in your journey.  Our staff possess a wide range of experience & skills in order to reach these goals. We listen, assess & advise to get you the best possible resources,  support & expertise you need.  We do so with a strong focus on preserving client dignity.   Experience has shown us that while you can definitely age just fine without a professional,  but our skilled eyes can catch issues earlier & get the proper care or comfort care.  For some older adults, the changes that come with aging can come fast and furious, while for others it can come on slowly.  Either way, aging doesn’t come with a road map and navigating it is stressful & overwhelming.  You need not travel alone, we are here to help. We feel we have a uniquely broad scope of professional services and  a big tool box!

Figuring out what you need can be a challenge. This can be further complicated when there is disagreements as to what, if anything, is needed.  We can determine the best next steps with our initial free 15 minute call. We can make almost any situation affordable & achievable. Moving should be , and is, only one option. Hands feel tied? We get it. You are not alone. Let’s discuss potential ways to approach including us.

Following that call we can get started right away if desired. You can “buy” just one service, many or on-going services. However, often a full in person assessment can be the way to plan the most beneficial supports or process. By creating a road map for you to take and use OR you can hire us to  help “drive you” through this journey. The map can be general or very specific. It’s a conversation with options.

We are flexible. We adapt our wide variety of services to your needs and the amount of guidance or support you desire. If hired on-going, we take our time to develop a relationship with our clients and their families so that all feel heard, supported &  respected.

Unlike some larger agencies or phone based services, our professional services are highly personalized.  We do so with the commitment of not taking kick-backs from those to whom we refer. We take pride in knowing the exceptional resources in our community & a willingness to research beyond our own community when needed.  We can also provide the prevention services of cognitive stimulation therapy that has proven to help cognition and mood. We are a concierge service, keeping small case loads so that we are available to our clients every need.

Recommendations can be made in different ways:

  • One time consultation and brief assessment (Phone, Zoom or In-Person)
  • Or full assessment with face to face interviews.
  • Written Report or Care Plan
